FEST3D
The European Space Agency (ESA/ESTEC) is currently running the activity "FEST3D Distribution" in order to enhance FEST3D capabilities and prepare it for its distribution. Aurorasat is the prime contractor of such an activity (ITLink sr.l and LEMA/EPFL are the sucontractors) and will proceed with FEST3D Distribution as soon as the activity is finished (planned for first semester of 2008).
FEST3D is a software tool, property of the European Space Agency, for the analysis, design and synthesis of passive milimeter-wave and microwave components such as filters or multiplexers. It is based on advanced modal techniques capable to analyse complex devices in extremely short times. Some of these techniques are the integral equation, method of moments or the BI-RME method.
